Blue LureGards Now Available

There are now over 10,000 white LureGards being used by predator control groups across Aotearoa. Members of the Kākāriki Karaka Recovery Programme saw the white LureGard and asked if we could make a LureGard that would contrast with the white traps they use in their predator control. We were happy to help and the DOC team recently received 200 blue LureGards to try in the field. We hope the blue LureGards help in restoring the mauri of the manu and that our small contribution aids with one day making the kākāriki karaka as common as the korimako.
